The Great Gamble – June 22nd – John 13:2-5 The evening meal was being served…so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

John 13:12-17 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

A Couple of Observations:
1st “Jesus Unapologetically, With No Reservation Whatsoever… CALLS Every One of HIS FOLLOWERS to ACTS of KINDNESS Like FOOTWASHING!”

2nd “Now that You Know these Things…If You DO THEM! “YOU WILL BE BLESSED”

Ecclesiastes 2 1 I thought in my heart, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good.” 3 I wanted to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives. I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards. 5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6 I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. 7 I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me. 8 I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired men and women singers, and a harem as well—the delights of the heart of man.11 Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun.

THE FREEDOM PARTY: THE COURAGE TO BE FREE! – July 6th –

The Essential Ingredient In FREEDOM is COURAGE.

Without Courage We Lay Down And Let Our Oppressors Stand Over Our Cold, Defeated Souls.
Moses Had To Find His COURAGE Before His People Could Find Their FREEDOM.
The Courage To Be Free From The Life Of Moses: Exodus 2 – 4
1. The Courage to GO ON! 2. The Courage to FACE YOURSELF! 3. The Courage to CHANGE!

COURAGE Is The BRIDGE
From Your FEARS To Your FUTURE.

WHY WE SERVE? – July 13th –

We Serve For His Pleasure, Not Our Performance!

The R’s Of Performance!

Everything I Need To Know About Faith I Learned From Noah’s Ark:
1. Don’t miss the boat.
2. Remember that we are all in the same boat.
3. Plan ahead! It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.
4. Stay fit. When you’re 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
5. Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
6. Build your future on high ground.
7. For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.
8. Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
9. When you’re stressed, float a while.
10. Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
11. No matter the storm, when you are with God, there’s always a rainbow waiting.
