Turkey Shoot & Feast: November. 12th, after Express Service @ 11 am
At our Turkey Shoot Sunday, two winners will be awarded a certificate for a Whole Turkey from Honeybaked Ham. We will begin the day with a full worship service at 9:30 AM, then an express service at 11:00 AM, followed by the Pot-luck feast and Turkey Shoot.
Worship: Pastor David has a dynamic message prepared about hitting the mark in our walk with Christ. You will be blessed. Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Pot-Luck Lunch: The Pot-luck entree is turkey. Bring whatever side dish you enjoy with juicy smoked or fried bird. Desserts are welcome, too!
Turkey Shoot: Are you good with a bow? Pellet gun? Want to try out beginner’s luck? We will provide the bows and guns. FDR State Park Naturalist Mike Smith will be our on-site guide. Shots are $1 each.
Prizes: The winner from each category can exchange their certificates at Honeybaked Ham for a pre-cooked turkey. Mom will be happy. Choose between three flavors: Smoked, Cajun, or Roasted. These delicious prizes are sponsored by Steve Thomas and Money Mailer.
Proceeds: All proceeds from the Turkey Shoot will support Reach India International. Edward and Twinkle Johnson have a God-sized dream to bring people to faith in India, and we can help them do it!
