Easter Sunday, April 15, 2001 RiverTown opened it's doors for the first time for a sneak preview service at the Hollywood Connection. 109 people were in attendance with standing room only.
Mother's Day, May 13th, 2001 Because of the huge success of the sneak preview service, RiverTown "unofficially" opened it's doors and began weekly services.
September 9, 2001 GRAND OPENING! RiverTown Church was officially opened to begin changing lives into the likeness of Jesus Christ!
August 31, 2004 After saving close to $100,000. for a down payment, RiverTown Church purchased 11.37 acres on Schomburg Road to continue building God's church in this community.
January 9, 2005 Groundbreaking Service On a cool winters' day, RiverTown church held a groundbreaking service at our new property. Titled "B.Y.O.S." for "Bring Your Own Shovel", RiverTown Church's members and attenders all dug in and dedicated our building, construction, and our church to God and praised Him for all that He had blessed us with.
