Some of the characteristics of a transformed life are:
EVANGELISM: Communicating God's Truth
The Trait: The son of Man came to seek and save that which was
lost. Luke 19:10 The Command: Go therefore and
make disciples of all nations... Matthew 28:19
WORSHIP: Celebrating God's Presence
The Trait: At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy
Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,... Yes,
Father, for this was your good pleasure. Luke 10:21
The Command: ...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37
FELLOWSHIP: Incorporating God's Family
The Trait: Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Here
a dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was
among those reclining at the table with him. John 11:5,12:2
The Command: ...Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit ... Matthew 28:19
DISCIPLESHIP: Educating God's People
The Trait: And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor
with God and men. Luke 2:52 The Command: ...And
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you... Matthew 28:20
SERVICE: Demonstrating God's Love
The Trait: ...The Son of Man came not to be served, but to
serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28
The Command: Love you neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:39 These
traits and commands are based on the life of Jesus, the Great
Commandment (Matthew 22), and Great Commission (Matthew 28).
